In just a little over a years time, Chinese-Icelandic musician, Laufey returns to Dallas at the Echo Lounge with support from Adam Melchor.

With her release of her Grammy nominated album “Bewitched,” the energy of the music hall was already at an ethereal high. The crowd was treated to a symphony of sounds, with the cello, piano, and guitar heightening the emotional resonance of the performance.

Between some of the songs, Laufey shared intimate stories about her past experiences with boys and the varying emotions that inspired her music.

As the night reached its end, Laufey surprised the crowd with a series of encore songs, each unique to every show on the tour. "Questions for the Universe" added a reflective touch, from her first album, “Everything I Know About Love”, serving as a poignant conclusion.

In a magical and nostalgic moment, the performance finished with a tribute to Laufey's 13-year-old self from the "Bewitched" album. The song bridged the gap between past and present, leaving the audience with a sense of introspection and a deep appreciation for the artist's evolution.
